Automatic wireless backup

Details
Automatic wireless backup copies BlackBerry user settings and data to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server automatically. These settings and data are restored to the BlackBerry device during wireless enterprise activation process. Automatic wireless backup is enabled on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server by default and it allows settings and data that are not already stored in the mail system to be backed up to the server. Automatic wireless back up also allows system administrators to wirelessly restore settings and data if the BlackBerry user experiences a problem.
You can back up the following BlackBerry device settings and data using automatic wireless backup:

Additional Information
To enable automatic wireless backup:
1. In the left pane of BlackBerry Manager, click a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
2. On the Users tab, double-click a user account.
3. Click PIM Sync
4. Click Automatic Wireless Backup Enabled.
5. In the drop-down list, click True.
6. Click OK.
